OBEX Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 30, 2026 Policy version: 2026-08-30
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by OBEX. The Service currently uses essential security storage and limited preference storage; it does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics.
1. Essential cookies
The Service uses:
obdx_session: an essential, secure, HTTP-only session cookie used to keep an authenticated browser signed in. It is sent only to the Service, uses SameSite protection, and expires when the session expires or is revoked.obdx_csrf: an essential secure cookie used with server-side validation to protect authenticated actions against cross-site request forgery. Browser code must be able to read this value to submit protected requests. It expires with the session or when revoked.
These cookies are strictly necessary for sign-in and security. They are not used for advertising. Disabling them prevents authenticated account functions from working correctly.
2. Local browser storage
The Service may use local browser storage for nonessential interface preferences, such as a selected market or ticker display preference. This information remains in the browser until the user, browser, or Service clears or replaces it. Clearing it resets the related preference but should not remove blockchain or account records.
3. Security and third-party services
Contact and listing forms may load Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical request information or use storage according to its own policies. Asset logos or static resources may be requested from identified third-party hosts; those requests can reveal ordinary connection information such as IP address and user agent to the host.
Links to explorers, wallets, exchanges, or other websites lead to services with their own cookies and privacy practices. OBEX does not control storage set after you visit those services.
4. No advertising or behavioral analytics cookies
OBEX does not currently place cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising, data brokerage, or third-party audience measurement. If nonessential analytics or advertising storage is introduced, this Policy will be updated and any consent required by applicable law will be requested before it is used.
5. Managing storage
Your browser can display, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, CSRF protection, account access, and authenticated actions. Private-browsing modes may delete storage when the browsing session ends. Consult your browser's controls for instructions.
6. Changes and contact
This Policy may be updated prospectively. The current effective date and policy version will be displayed, and material changes may require notice or affirmative reacceptance. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, private keys, or seed phrases.
